Myofascial Release and Restorative yoga
This class is a perfect blend of self massage techniques coupled with relaxing supported yoga postures. Rachel will teach you self sufficient ways to deeply release tight tissues followed by yoga postures that restore these massaged areas. Myofascial massage releases and heals connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and increase range of motion. Restorative Yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During long holds your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. In addition, props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body, making it a very relaxing experience. This class is held one Sunday a month in our Saint Charles location. Current scheduled dates are Aug 18 and September 15 from 4 to 5:30 pm.
