Journaling and Yoga

Use the power of yoga and the written word to clarify your intentions, thoughts and remove mental blocks. Through this 4 week series Sarah will thoughtfully guide you to explore gentle movements that are designed to encourage the flow of your pen to paper with carefully crafted journaling prompts. In our yoga practice we often use tools of meditation, asana, and pranayama to access a deeper state of serenity or even a higher consciousness. In journaling we begin to free our thoughts, through the physical art of hand writing, allowing our thoughts and experiences to hold their truth in space. When we actively combine these two uniquely personal experiences we are given the opportunity to gain more knowledge about our patterns, and passions. With this knowledge you become empowered to live from your most authentic state. Experience or knowledge of yoga is not required, please bring your own journal and pen, know that your words are your own and your privacy will be respected. Our final session will be followed with a warm cup and a sweet something. Dates: April 27, May4, 11, 18 $70.00 prior to April 20 $80.00 thereafter. $25 for single class drop in.
